Hello, my laptop screen has a yellowish tint to it since 30/07.

On that day, I opened my laptop lid, and, as it had been sleeping for more than a day, the system and apps were kind of slow. My screen was normal then. I decided to restart the computer, something I've done many times before to fix the slowness. When it rebooted, the screen had the yellow tint to it (right at the sign in screen, it was especially noticeable because my wallpaper has a lot of yellow in it). Logged in, and it was still the same. To confirm, I opened WhatsApp Desktop and the color change was very noticeable, with the greens having an almost neon tone. On my browser (I use Edge on dark mode) all the gray and black tones were yellowish.

Since then I've tried many "solutions" as suggested online:

- Turning off Night Light - my night light is never on, but I turned it on and off just to be sure. Nothing changed.

- I installed all pending updates (the only one left is Windows 2004, that I haven't downloaded yet). Nothing changed.

- Changing color profile on color management - Nothing changed, even after restarting.

- Calibrating colors on color management - this was a tricky one. I calibrated the colors, and they looked fine, "better" even. I thought they were back to normal, but it was just a placebo effect. I eventually restarted the computer and noticed the colors were off again, this time darker and redder (I know this is an issue with my calibrating, but it means I cannot change the colors back to normal - it's quite difficult to know for certain if I'm doing it "right"). After this, I deleted the calibrated color profile and changed it back to the system default (sRGB IEC61966-2.1 / sRGB Color Space Profile.icm). It went back to the yellow tint.

- Calibrating colors on the Intel Control Panel - same issue as creating a personalized color profile, I can't quite judge when it is "just right". Went back to the defaults.

- Checking for updates - on Device Manager, I right clicked the Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 driver and searched for updates, none were found.

- I even created a different local user profile and signed in it, but it still had the same tint (not sure this would have changed, but wanted to at least try).

- I connected the laptop to an external monitor (a TV). Some things happened - when only projected on the second screen, the colors were normal. When projecting on both screens, both had the yellow tone. After projecting on both and switching to only the second screen, the tint persisted. When switching from that to only the computer screen, the computer had the yellow tone. Finally, from there, switching to only the second screen, the colors went back to normal.

What I haven't done, although suggested online - installed Windows 2004, uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics driver, booting in safe mode, checking the colors on BIOS screen.

Is there anything else I can do? The tint does not make any app unusable, but it is still very uncomfortable on the eyes.
