I am having what seems to be a common problem with a USB gamepad being recognised by my HP laptop. I have successfully used the gamepad for many months, and then suddenly started getting the error. I have tried all the possible online solutions I have found (enabling EnhancedPowerManagement, uninstalling and reinstalling USB devices etc). I have no problems with a USB joystick on the same laptop. I bought another gamepad but have had the same problem. I note that the regedit device parameters for the failed device includes EnumerationFailureCode and EnumerationRetryCount entries. Are these si
