Windows 10 yo guys i just figure out i have a malware games on my pc for a long long time

after using my pc for a very long time i just figure out i have a malware game i open the game and it suddenly says i need to install it and it says direct x version is needed so i think abt it first and suddenly i scan it on virustotal and virustotal scanned it with 12 viruses, am i safe bc i didnt download the game
