FYI, I have discovered why the error in the thread title may persist no matter what you try. If you have multiple share connections to a single computer you may have somehow gotten differing credentials between some of the shares. Having multiple credentials to access shares on a single computer is not allowed. The solution here is to disconnect all the share connections you have to the computer of interest. Then reconnect to the shares and provide your credentials if needed.You may also need to remove any existing credentials designated for the computer of interest via the Credentials Manager
