Windows 10 YouTube hyperlinks all open on the same window instead of the link. YouTube claims it is the fault of a Microsoft update. Problem began in February 20

For years I have used the share option for movie trailers on YouTube downloaded into a Word Document. About two weeks ago all such links open on a YouTube page with a statement about browsers. The YouTube support recognize the issue and blame a Microsoft update. The links continue to work correctly for those to whom I email the Word Document. I have Word 2013 and Windows 10 Home Premium, 64 bit. Does anyone know how to deal with this problem or who to ask?
